British World Championship medallist appointed new chief executive of IAAF

Briton Jon Ridgeon has been appointed as the new chief executive of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), it was announced here today. The 51-year-old was formerly one of Britain’s top athletes, winning a silver medal in the 110 metres hurdles at the 1987 IAAF World Championships in Rome. From insidethegames.biz
